Leverage digitization to create a scalable global demand generation machine that increases our intimacy with partners and customers and ensures a sustainable competitive advantage for the COMPANY in the digitization era

The foundation of this transformation are based on 2 fundamentals

  1. A shift from current “Sell-In” mode of operation where our focus and resource deployment is skewed towards first layer of distributor channel partner TO “Sell-Out” mode of operation where our focus and resources is skewed towards End User demand generation activities and final intermediary partners as brand ambassadors by creating partner intimacy

Delivering a differentiated, relevant, compelling, winning customer experience for both our end-user customers and channel partners by enlarging our market presence and economic benefits to the COMPANY eco-system in scalable digitized enabled way, measured through dashboard

Demand Generation machine. Working closelywith Cluster Marketing teams in gaining significant impact by elevating our focus for Demand Generation towards end-user segments

    1. Marketing investment levels including leveraging rebates/discounts/etc
    2. Shifting activities spent from Sell-In to Sell-Out focus
    3. Influencing campaign impact that drives talkability, viral, thought leadership
    4. Supports acceleration of Digital marketing excellence and retail marketing excellence

Channel & Partner Strategies and Programs. Responsible for and/or influence channel strategy and channel managers community in delivering best in class Partner Relationship Management (PRM) in a given geography that addresses and delivers concrete business metrics

Software, Configurators and Tools.Contributes to continuous renewed roadmap, localization activities and promotes and communicates our Software, Configurators, Tools to targeted partner communities to ensure successful usage levels. This also covers animating local Independent Software Vendors relationship to enlarge our network of influence

Customer Care Excellence. Supporting CCE local network champions in ensuring integrated support across all 5 building blocks and prioritization of key program milestones receives adequate resourcing level from local and global business owners

Sales Operations. Contribute to global Sales Ops leader in building Sales Op modules that provides spend visibility and governance, optimized resource allocation model and corresponding enablers impacting evolving commercial policies, relevant logistics offers and support needed roll out in 2014 onwards.



University degrees in Business/Marketing(MBA preferred)

Working Experience:

8+ years sales & marketing experience in relevant industry

Business Understanding:

Sales &Marketing profile with good understanding of “sell-out” operating model / demand generation preferred

Others (e.g. language skills, technical skills):

  • Good command of spoken and written English. Computer literate and presentation skills
  • Passionate about “Digitization” and understand digital clock-speed way of working
  • Self-motivated and strong persistency to bring vision to operation model
  • Mature individual not threatened by lack of formal organizational reporting perimeter
  • Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking and hands-on in driving program
  • Ability to influence&convince, and foster cooperation inmatrix and dynamicenvironment

Key Responsibility

  • Manage sales and distribution for multiple product lines and have responsibility for a sales budget of $ 0.5 M with no direct reports
  • Develop yearly sales targets by customer and marketing strategies to ensure the overall sales plan is achieved.
  • Develop and plan visit itineraries, as required, to visit all customers and prospects to ensure maximum sales potential is achieved.
  • Analyze customer and prospect’s current proposed products to determine possible applications for present and proposed products, conduct tests and evaluation of samples.
  • Raise product samples as required.
  • Communicate, interpret, and submit prices, terms and conditions of sales on ITO system.
  • Solicit orders and when necessary, notify and assist customer service in writing orders with difficult specifications or terms.
  • Train and assist customers regarding products and application.
  • Review, explain and answer inquiries concerning company policy on terms such as credit, payment, warranty, service, transportation charges and ensure inclusion in all quotations to customers.
  • Determine customer and prospect requirement for products including delivery schedules, order placement and lead time as such requirements relate to their production schedules, sales activities and sales forecasts.
  • Recommend and participate in establishing inventory levels of components, part list and finished products as required.
  • Recommendations to new applications requiring modifications or new products, and initiate, report and follow up on new product opportunities.
  • Investigate customer complaints on products and services, and personally handle situations to customer and division satisfaction, obtaining other departmental assistance as needed.
  • Report all competitive activities with respect to price, products, specifications, performance, service or other details that may be of benefit in guiding the development of divisional planning.
  • Compile and prepare periodic customer and sales reports and update Country Sales Manager.
  • Cooperate with Division for product quality, product improvement and market demand,
  • Support service engineering
  • Submit sales forecast and other management reports as requested.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • Minimum 3-5 years relevant working experience in Sales Manager and 2-3 years in Industrial/Technical.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, or technical procedures
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from customers, vendors, managers/supervisors or other associates of the organization
  • Ability to operate various office equipment and proficient in a variety of software programs used in the department
  • Requires a thorough understanding of company products and their functions
  • Requires the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality. Requires travel in Vietnam
  • Energetic, quick learner, self-motivated, with proven sales experience
  • Good command of spoken and written English
  • Working experience is Management of Distribution Channel or OEM Sales is an advantage

  • Experience in engineering capital equipment channel sales environment.  Project management experience needed; ability to interface with all levels of engineering, procurement, shipping, production, etc. and develop excellent working relationships with customers.  Excellent communication skills necessary.
  • Bachelor’s in Engineering (Mechanical / Electronic / Mechatronic).  Proficient in appropriate computer software necessary to successfully navigate the job (Microsoft Office, etc).
