Position: Field Application Engineer

Salary : USD 2500- USD 3000

Working location : Ho Chi Minh

Report: Regional Service Manager, in Singapore

Responsibilities:

  • Support key customers, especially in application of SMPS, Lighting, Motor Drives, Inverter in Ho Chi Minh City
  • Provide technical support and product training to both distributor field application engineers and external customers
  • Benchmark and documentation of power components and solutions from the market
  • Collect and feedback customer/application requirements
  • Drive local application- specific system design as well as customized design
  • Prepare technical papers as well as join seminars to promote power products
  • Drive for new product development for local market with close communications with our headquarters

Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, preferably Masters in Electrical Engineering or even higher
  • Minimum 8 to 12 years’ experience in R&D positions for various power electronics technologies
  • Good knowledge of power semiconductors
  • Proficient in various SMPS/Lighting/Motor drive/Inverter topologies and design
  • Good presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent team player and able to work under pressure and willingness to travel
  • Open-minded and flexible to work with customers to find out best fit design approaches

Our client is a global Automation system supply for Oil & Gas industry , currently opening the Account Manager to develop and grow  Process  Automation Product line & Service Business (thru Direct or indirect  customers. (EPCs / Partners / End Users)

Promote and Sell Automation Product, System and Services

- Platform, target and qualify EU and System Integrator in targeted segments (O&G, Petrochemical, Power)

- Develop System Integrator to sell EcoStruxure Platform

- Prompt and influence End-user to use EcoStruxure

- Build solution for End-user and instruct System Integrator to use EcoStruxure to respond to the need of end-user,  promote full solution to address the need of customer

- Ensure Bi Weekly activities plans is submitted, improve quality of pipeline, maximize effort to follow up and close Order,

Coordinate with Proposal / TSC / Delivery Team to build offer

Work with Proposal / TSC / Delivery Team for greenfield or brownfield offering.

Coordinate with Marketing

Work with Marketing to deploy Go-To-Market action such us listing out potential customers, doing platforming, setting up action plan, visit, qualifying, collecting or working out the BOM, getting competitor price, providing data to Marketing function, position right price and maximize the top-line.

Coordinate with Industry Business Unit

Work with team across level to execute any relevant tasks of team such business group for growth initiatives

Action Plan & Project Management

Execute any assigned action plan and manage the project on the deadline with proper quality, work with related member to address any obstacles and make sure the projects to be fulfilled as per assignment

Business Development, Efficiency and Growth

Align with process and discipline to interface with customer and internal resource to respond to customer as the right level of efficiency. Build the team and link with customer to build up a long-term channel, market, relationship for sustainable development

Key Requirements :

  • Develop strategies to drive new orders pursuits and build quality pipelines to meet the yearly assigned individual sales quota.
  • Participate in regular business reporting and maintain country operation plan.
  • Utilize business and financial knowledge to create value propositions
  • Execute competitive sales tactics to win business
  • Coordinate deal crafting and positioning to include cross border opportunities.
  • Lead or participate in contract negotiations
  • Manage and maintain executive relationships
  • Focus on Orders in the O&G & Power Segment in Vietnam or International project thru EPCs in this two countries.
  • Build and grow the local Sales / Operation team in 3 to 5 years
  • 5+ years’ experiencein Process industry, technical design or commissioning engineer, End-user sales engineer, system integrator sales, automation sales, project management experience a plus
  • 1+ years in Sales Team Management (EU/SI/OEM/Distributor).
  • Industrial Machine knowledge,Automation system design and architecture, master products/systems/solutions (automation & electrical control devices)
  • Distributed control and Safety Systems
  • Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) full range
  • SCADA& RTU solution
  • Familiar with Process Industry Standards (ISA 95 / IEC 81511 /  IEC 62443)
  • Automation Platform and architectures (Hard-ware and software, EcoStruxure)
