Our client – a trading company that specializes in sourcing raw materials for the Asian markets, representing reliable, world-class manufacturers with factories on all continents.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Creates client-visit itinerary report for the next week and submits this the Friday before to Business Manager (BM).
  • Manages his/ her team & sells raw materials to his/her assigned accounts.
  • Visits clients, to monitor and service all needs of the customer, and thereby create and contribute to more sales.
  • Works with the BM and Group Sales Coordinator, to prepare, submit, and monitor quotations and samples.
  • Prepares Weekly Summary Report, which includes client inquiries, sales, and market updates (i.e. client-wise, supplier-wise, product-wise) to facilitate the development of selling strategies of her team.
  • Assists clients in product innovations to increase business and turnover. This is achieved by providing frequent updates from the Raw Material Industry.
  • Handles and addresses problems which may arise in the course of client’s transaction i.e. shipment delays, etc.
  • Assists the Credit & Collection Department in payment monitoring of assigned clients.
  • Monitors for indent/ forward businesses, the statuses of L/C deadlines, shipments, or any issue pertaining to a client’s order.
  • Provides creative ideas and suggestions for better sales productivity, client coverage, and time management.
  • Produces an annual Sales Forecast of your own clients.
  • Reports quarterly the sales performance of the team to the BM.
  • Processes the source of new suppliers to find competent suppliers for the Food and Seafood Industries.
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the the BM, or designate

Requirements

  • Graduate of BS in Biochemistry, or similar course.
  • Productive sales experience in similar field of not less than four (4) years, with strong inclination towards sales and client contact.
  • High proficiency in both written and oral English.
  • Customer-focused, results-oriented, team worker, solutions-driven.
  • Meticulous, energetic, systematic, self-driven, and able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Facility to report regularly to superiors without prodding.
  • Computer literate in Windows environment.
  • Capability/potential for acquiring higher responsibilities

 SUMMARY

The Sales Engineer is to initiate, promote and develop sales opportunities in the assigned region for the range of Company’s products, with special emphasis on growing the assigned industry business volume and achieving the sales and income targets set by the Company.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES

  • Initiate, promote and develop sales opportunities for the assigned products and to achieve the desired growth in business volume reflected in the individual’s ePMS targets.
  • Prepare sales plans and secure orders for the Company's products, solutions and services, and to achieve the sales and income target (monthly/annually) as assigned by the Sales Manager.
  • Identify and establish new customers as well as new business opportunities to ensure successful market penetration and development, with special emphasis on the project and end user market.
  • Establish good rapport with the various Lapp organizations and other suppliers (if any) and to liaise with them on customers’ needs.
  • Plan and conduct technical seminars or solutions/product demonstration to prospective customers in a professional and high quality manner.
  • Conduct regular visits to customers/dealers in order to maintain good rapport as well as to solicit feedback on the effectiveness of the products, services/support and other market information.
  • Establish healthy customer relations and provide efficient and effective service/ support so as to maintain their confidence in the reputation of the products and services offered by the Company.
  • Work out quotations for customers based on ABC pricing.
  • Attend to customers' complaints and enquiries with professionalism and integrity.
  • Update visits report, 20 days planner, opportunity pipeline in C4C.  Report customer’s complaints/problems encountered on a regular basis.
  • Gather market information so as to keep the Sales Manager and Marketing Executive updated on competitors’ movements and the Company's position in the market.
  • Be conscious and receptive to customers’ needs, market trend and new products launched by competitors.
  • Attend all necessary project site meetings when required in order to ensure smooth hand over.
  • Maintain a high level of cooperation and teamwork with the sales team.
  • Learn, update and consistently demonstrate the core competencies required for the job.
  • Undertake any other tasks as and when assigned by the Sales Manager.

JOB SPECIFICATION

  • Bachelor’s degree / Diploma preferably in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
  • 2 to 3 years’ sales experience from process automation, system integration/design, building automation, air conditioning or heavy industry will be considered. Candidates with qualification but without related industry sales background will also be considered.
  • Possess good communication skills.
  • Creative and innovative thinker with good business acumen.
  • Friendly disposition, proactive and a good team player.

SUMMARY

The Indoor Sales Executive is to provide  technical and commercial support to the Country’s customer base and coordinate with our partners to ensure and also constantly improve our service levels. Managing teleselling and telemarketing operations of the Country’s product portfolio to the customers in the countries in consultation with the Sales Manager (or General Manager) with the objective of achieving the Country’s budgets, profitability and assigned key tasks.

  • Manage Telemarketing and proactive contact of existing and potential customers.
  • Manage requests  for information and  online presentations.

  • Coordinate with indoor team members on orders, returns, shipments and products.
  • Provide commercial and technical collaboration with all members in the telesales team whenever required.
