Title: Country Sales Director

Working: Hà Nội/Hồ Chí Minh

  • Contribute to business planning at the top executive level to develop sales strategies and plans that are consistent with the organization's overall mission, vision, and long-term objectives. Prepare sales forecasts; establish targets in areas such as product mix, sales volume, market share, or business development and monitor the performance of the organization against these goals; adjust sales strategies and plans to meet changing markets and competitive conditions. Oversee the overall sales budget; monitor the cost and effectiveness of sales activities to optimize resources and prioritize spending. Develop pricing and discount strategies to maximize sales revenue. Pursue major prospects and leads and negotiate terms of sales with major clients that will maximize the organization's business interests. Liaise with other senior executives across the organization (particularly in marketing and customer service) to ensure that sales strategies and activities are integrated with other parts of the business and aligned with the overall corporate objectives. 
     
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with external firms that manufacture, distribute, or represent the organization's products. Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop the organization's sales force (field and inside sales) to achieve established sales and profit goals. implement the organization's overall sales strategy for an assigned geography, product line, market segment, or list of customer accounts. Prepare sales forecasts and budgets; monitor sales volume, revenues, and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas; and adapt procedures or re-allocate resources to improve the overall performance of the sales team. Negotiate sales with existing and new customers who are of strategic importance to the organization. Contribute to the development of sales, marketing, customer retention, advertising, pricing, and distribution strategies for area of responsibility. Coach sales representatives on the technical aspects of the organization's products and services; on marketing campaigns and sales promotions; and on sales techniques, procedures and standards that will help them achieve their sales targets.

Accountabilities:

  • Make importing raw materials forecast  thanks to sales forecast yearly  
  • Make importing raw materials order plan each 3- months thanks to 3-months PSI Plan  
  • Review materials order plan monthly  
  • Update raw materials inventory for blanket order weekly  
  • Contact with our forwarder about materials importing issues: invoice, packing list, sales contract, custom clearance…  
  • Finish all issues after importing such as: documents, checking from government…  
  • Update and review imported tax and payment term for BOD when we get any new regulations
  • Make warehouse control procedure  
  • Make warehouse map (Warehouse outline)  
  • Control warehouse arrangement  
  • Take care fire prevention and insect (It's especially wrapping materials warehouse)  
  • Control and note (returned or changed materials) to suppliers

Requirements:

  • University degree
  • Have the same position (or similar position)
  • Knowledge of controlling inventory
  • Knowledge about food materials importing
  • Good at computer, communication, manageable skills
  • Able to speak English at intermediate level, Japanese is an advantage

Description

Responsibilities

  • Creates client-visit itinerary for the next week and submits this the Friday before to Business Manager (BM).
  • Sells raw materials to his/her assigned accounts.
  • Visits clients, to monitor and service all needs of the customer, and thereby create and contribute to more sales.
  • Works with the BM and Group Sales Coordinator, to prepare, submit, and monitor quotations and samples.
  • Prepares Weekly Summary Report, which includes client inquiries, sales, and market updates (i.e. client-wise, supplier-wise, product-wise) to facilitate the development of selling strategies.
  • Assists clients in product innovations to increase business and turnover. This is achieved by providing frequent updates from the Raw Material Industry.
  • Handles and addresses problems which may arise in the course of client’s transaction i.e. shipment delays, etc.
  • Assists the Credit & Collection Department in payment monitoring of assigned clients.
  • Monitors for indent/ forward businesses, the statuses of L/C deadlines, shipments, or any issue pertaining to a client’s order.
  • Provides creative ideas and suggestions for better sales productivity, client coverage, and time management.
  • Produces an annual Sales Forecast of his/her own clients.
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the BM, or designate.

Required

  • Graduate of BS in Chemistry, or similar course.
  • Productive sales experience in similar field, strong inclination towards sales and client contact. 
  • High proficiency in both written and oral English.\
  • Customer-focused, results-oriented, team worker, solutions-driven.
  • Meticulous, energetic, systematic, self-driven, and able to work with minimum supervision.
  • Facility to report regularly to superiors without prodding.\
  • Computer literate in Windows environment.
  • Capability/potential for acquiring higher responsibilities.
