Responsibilities:
- Responsible for process engineering and documentation, methods analysis/improvements, machines layout and equipment acquisition, preparation of equipment justification and appropriation request development, and maintenance of manufacturing information and statistical process control systems, providing analytical troubleshooting leadership, and leading projects designed to improve efficiencies, assure quality and reduce costs.
- Hands-on to involve process and production activity is a must.
- Also responsible for carrying out special assignment in compliance with government regulatory agencies, developing company health and safety policies, marketing and customer services.
Requirements:
- BS degree in engineering or sciences, mechanical engineering
- At least 1-2 years as a manufacturing, process, or methods engineer; working in an optics manufacturing environment or a highly technical, quality oriented, high volume, light-manufacturing environment.
- Chinese communication is compulsory,
- English speaking is a plus.
- Project management knowledge
- Technical knowledge-strong technical background
- Well-developed fault isolation, problem solving and analytical skills
- Ability to methodize and improve production processes.
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
- Simple tools, jigs and fixture design capabilities.
- Ability to use AutoCAD or other CAD software to help in engineering design tasks.
