Position: Commercial Project Controller

Report to : CFO

• Finance business partner supporting Tender & Execution teams to monitor and challenge project performance (P&L, Cash Curve, CCO GM evolution, etc)
• Ensure governances around project controlling are in place (REL, risk/opportunity analysis/review, solution database, Solutions Guidelines, IFRS) for all the entities being part of the region (zones, RACs).
• Advise the Finance & Control Leader and/or Execution/Application Center Leader, on main areas of attention regarding the execution of projects (risks / loss / opportunities).

Requirement:

• Bachelor Degree in Audit, Finance or Accounting (ACCA, MBA
• Minimum5 years holding finance analysis and accounting management position in a multinational organization.
• Excellent in Excel and working knowledge of PowerPoint
• SAP experience or similar software
• Proven ability to communicate with management across all functions
• Preferable having work experience in management accounting function
• Experience in project financial controlling in project business will be an advantage
• Project/solution sales
• Liaise with Corporate, Finance & Control functions in order to help in the follow up of financial performance of project execution: Legal, Tax, Treasury, Solution Risk Managers,Contract Managers, Contract administrators, and Finance Business analysts.
• As business partner during project Execution, support and challenge Project Manager in all relevant projects aspects with close focus/follow up on the finance activities (Revenue recognition, Margin, Cash, Tax, …) in order to improve project financial performance.
• As business partner for tender leader to support and challenge the financial aspects for new opportunities as well with captured lessons learned from executed projects
• Build strong relationship with Project execution transformation project controller to ensure alignment on the role and responsibilities of project controller. Ensuring the implementation of the Financial governance as defined by the Zone/Country team: REL, KPIs, Risk & Contract, Solutions Guidelines
• Providing to the Execution Center leader with the financial performance around project execution: margin slippage and cash performance (R-I-C).
• During Execution, participate and animate REL4 for the region; ensure REL 1/2/3 are in place in zones / countries. Participate to REL5.
• Ensure the pertinence of data loaded in Solution Database. Build KPI (GM OTD variation, GM backlog, etc...) in order to understand the performance of execution and to propose and support action plans to management.
• Take active part of Project Controller community sharing lessons learnt and best practices
