Job Title: Production Manager

Report to: General Director

MISSION

Production Manager plays the critical role contributing in the company’s bottom lines, successes, development and growth by being leadership role in her/his scope of people management, technical management, supervision and control production. He/she also plays the business partnering role and supports business decision making through added value contributions through valuable production strategies. Production manager is expected to plan, organize, and control production to ensure that goods are produced efficiently and sufficiently, on time, at the right cost, within the budget, and at the quality standard.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:  

• Participate in the production plan process
• Be accountable for setting up, adjusting, implementing, and controlling production schedules. Making strategic decision as necessary to alter production schedule when time or budget limitations are reached or as per business decision.
• Play the critical role of production cost controlling by analyzing and managing current production methods and develop new ways to save time and material in order to save costs.
• Closely work and liaise with Finance team to build up production cost.
• Improve productivity and reduce waste.
• Be accountable for set up, implement, control, and evaluate production budget.
• Coordinate with Human Resources to ensure the availability of quality labor resources for production
• Manage human and material resources to meet production targets
• Make decisions about equipment use, maintenance, modification and participate in the procurement process to ensure the technical requirements are delivered accordingly.
• Set up, determine, implement, enforce, and improve production control standards. Ensure that standard operating procedures are adhered to.
• Analyze production and quality control to detect and correct problems.
• Be accountable for timely production reports and data.
• Determine and implement continuous improvements to the production process
• Closely working with Repair and maintenance team for plant assets and equipment maintenance to ensure production continuity
• Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed. Ensure implementation and adherence to health and safety procedures.
• Supervising and motivating a team of workers; Reviewing production and worker performance;
• Identifying training needs to improve staffs’ competencies
• Any other duties or projects as reasonably requested by General Directors.

• Experience in production and manufacturing processes and techniques
• Experience of quality systems and standards
• Experience of health and safety standards and compliance
• Experience of process improvement techniques
• Knowledge of business, finance and management principles
• Experience of human resource principles and practices
• Knowledge of machines and tools
• Master of engineering and technology principles and practices
• Solid Computer skills

Experience

• More than 5 years working experiences in the same level. 
• Good experiences in Six Sigma practices

Qualification

• B.A, business administration, management engineering, industrial technology
• Post university: Six Sigma

Languages required

• Fluently in English & native Vietnamese
