Job Title: Ads and Marketing (A&M) Management Manager

Main purpose:

  • Lead A&M process & reporting, monitor marketing budget to ensure compliance of A&M spending via A&M process.
  • Lead MKT admin on paper works to support brand team focus on Marketing competency.

Accountabilities:

  • Build and get alignment A&M for AOP for Marketing Department basing on the good  knowledge about Brand activities
  • Build and get alignment on T&E, G&A, IT of AOP for whole Marketing Department
  • Own and execute marketing tracking fund/ A&M budget and actual spending to ensure that marketing funds are used effectively and in control
  • Monthly tracking A&M/ Year End Closing budget and A&M Accruals, Fall in/ Fall out.
  • Control and lead all kinds of A&M process, including process for JV and FOBO.
  • Provide A&M reporting timely and accurately to other functions, franchises (VIMAP), region (Asia Pacific) and sector
  • Lead the whole team (Marketing and Trade Marketing) to work with the Corporate auditors, Region/Sectors Auditors, Internal Auditors,  and External auditors  by liaising and being the contact person to handle auditor requests, following up with other functions to implement action plans after audit
  • Participate in the initial negotiation with the key retainer agencies to get the long-term commitment of 1-2 years
  • Process the contract/ annex, allocate agencies budget to all brands and make retainer fees payments to  key agencies such as creative agencies, media agencies, and package design, etc.
  • Follow up and update status of payments  for (Out of scopes and production house fee ) for key agencies
  • Lead process and manage budget on global cross charge/ Ring fence/CI cross charge…
  • Support brands team to directly work with finance/ control team on contracts, payment terms, payment request, clarify new request from finance/control and cascade to the MKT team.
  • Support brand team on wrong charges: find out wrong charge for brands, support brands team to work with finance to revert , etc,
  • Support brands team on adhoc requests on other functions
  • Support the team on PRPO system, working with IT to fix if error, testing to confirm error is remediated, etc.
  • Provide induction of A&M process for newcomers joining MKT Department and other functions (if required)
  • Lead PR process, monitor marketing budget (PR,PO), make sure to deliver the right timeline for Marketing Team
  • Lead MKT Admin to reduce workload for Marketing Department, make sure deliver on timeline: MFAR process ,contracts, invoices, …etc.

Candidate’s Specification:

  • University graduation in marketing, economics or related fields
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experiences, preferable in FMCG
  • Strong numerical skills (strong sense of numbers) and analysis skills
  • Details-oriented
  • Good at communication, negotiation skills across internal functions, global, sector, region…
  • Good at leadership (able to take others with you and deal with senior levels)
  • Good at English and strong Excel as well as other office computer skills
