Responsibilities:
• Lead and develop a team of Buyers to add sustainable value to the business through flawless execution translating the overall procurement strategy into actions. Ensure the Integration of business needs into procurement category strategies considering market evolution and expected innovations.
• Develop Sourcing Strategies for key spends and execute/update strategy regularly to reflect market dynamics and to support Business objectives.
• Ensure efficiency and effectiveness of Procurement process including speed and service level to internal stakeholders. Is the representative of the Function with the BU or Functions ensuring good information flow between the business and the function.
• Ensure internal control and compliant towards Corporate principles, guidelines and best practices.
• Conduct frequent Market Analyses that help the business to anticipate supply market evolution to turn threats into opportunities. Involved at early stage of project development, feeds back to BU supply markets evolution and industry outlook.
• Develop Supplier Relationship Management strategy w/key suppliers and key spends, engage w/ suppliers regularly to ensure they deliver competitive advantage.
• Build strategic relationships with key Procurement, Functions and business stakeholders (Above the Market / at Market Level).
• Find/identify, develop, and retain procurement talents.
Requirements:
• Over a sustained period (4-5 years) has demonstrated success in delivering competitive advantage to the business through procurement in the market. Has demonstrated the ability to successfully lead projects.
• Has demonstrated delivering competitive advantage to the business through professional spend category management.
• Has successfully negotiated in cross functional and cross market teams. Has been recognized as value adder in key business unit meetings.
• Has successfully managed talents and succession.
