Responsibilities:
This position does the following in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws / regulations and the company’s policies, procedures and guidelines
Experience in planning business strategies, overseeing P&L for a large organizations and managing successful business operations.
Develops budgets for the Department / Division and works within the budget
Works with other Executives to avoid duplication of efforts causing unwise use of Company resources
Orients, guides and mentors new Managers, providing ongoing guidance as annual performance reviews and disciplinary counseling if needed
Applies Department / Division / Company processes and ensures that unauthorized deviations and/or internal control ineffectives are corrected immediately
Encourages Managers to develop cross-training for jobs within the Department to ensure smooth transition when another employee is on time-off or out of the office for other reasons
Responds quickly and positively to questions and concerns from employees. Adheres to open door policy
Balances the responsibilities of individuals with the goals and objectives of the Department / Division / Company
Encourages team to share ideas and concerns
Set a good, positive example to subordinates in the workplace by being tactful and treating others with respect.
Exercises discretion and good judgment to matters affecting the Department, Division and Company
Requirements:
35 years old or above
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, sales & marketing or financial field of study. Graduate degree MBA or MS
Over five years experience at the management level in an operational or sales and marketing function in Sales industries of Auto-vehicle, Construction Machinery, Consumer Electronics or any other sales industries
Experience in strategic planning and execution.
Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.
Ability to think strategically, understand complex business / financial data and develop innovation solutions.
Excellent communications skills at the executive level. Comfortable and effective in making presentations to large and small groups.
Proactive management style combined with a high analytical problem solving and decision making skills.
