Main purposes of the job

• Define industrial installations, work stations and the best choice for the production process.
• Draw up the operating procedures, do the preparation of engineering project proposals, material and energy balances.
• Calculate the standard times and pace, decrease manufacturing times, and guarantee the lead times and costs.
• Devise new approaches to problems, and prepare or modify drawings, specifications, calculations, charts and graphs, and monitor work for compliance to applicable codes, accepted engineering practices and Client and/or Company standards.
• Plan and conduct independent work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures and criteria.
• Process engineering calculations.
• Equipment layouts, process system specifications: Size and select equipment, materials, and process systems.

​Main skills required

• University graduates with Mechanical / Electrical Engineering background. 
• Over 5 years experience at supervisor/manager level in relevant role in large labor intensive manufacturing company.
• Experience in managing multiple kaizen projects, lean manufacturing.
• ERP-production module experience is preferred.
• Statistical process control, budgeting and cost control.
• Strong leadership, management, communication skills.
• Good Written and Spoken English
