Report to: Legal and PAC Director, Indochina

Responsibilities:

• Assist Legal & PAC Director to establish and update direction for the Legal function and ensure alignment with business strategy
• Develop the guidelines, processes and templates and monitor the implementation
• Provide proactive Legal guidance, advice and assist in problem-resolution on a timely basis on various laws applicable to the organization and other issues which may arise; work as part of cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives and provide Legal guidance as required
• Develop guidelines for undertaking services of advocates and other legal services; monitor and review the quality and cost of services provided by third party counsel for area of practice and take steps to optimize these costs.
• Work with the relevant external parties in litigation proces
• Assist Legal & PAC Director to implement both global and local assignments & projects in Legal function

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Law, Charter Lawyer certificate will be advantage
• Experience of not less than 5 years gained from MNC and FMCG manufacturing entities.
• Experience in building up the relationship with Government
• Good communication / Good writing skills / Strong analytical skills
• Process efficiency, business oriented and COBC discipline
• Teamwork, flexibility and well-organized
• Fluently speaking and writing English
