Position: Marketing Manager

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer – Vietnam

Location: Hanoi / Nationwide

Salary : USD 2500- USD 3000

 

Key Responsibilities:

This person plays a key role in the development, launch and measurement of differentiated Products /

Services and Marketing Programs that support the sales function and build the brand in Vietnam.

  • Working closely with the CEO, and related sales channels in Vietnam
  • Design and support across the-board marketing and sales initiatives including customer and sales contests,Customer seminars and workshops with channel and sales partners.
  • Manage the design and development process of sales, marketing and branding collaterals independently and through 3rd Party agency channels.
  • Develop the  COMPANY brand through innovative marketing using a multi-channel approach and leveraging the relationship and strength of the joint venture partner.
  • Discover and define unmet consumer needs for profitable new or revised products / services and differentiated marketing programs.
  • Working with a great deal of autonomy, lead marketing development, partnering with and influencing our joint venture and external Partners
  • Achieve differentiation and speed-to-market with strong knowledge, energy and problem-solving skills.
  • Lead Launch & Measurement of Products / Programs to excite customers and prospects, and gather learning and best practices that can be applied to future marketing programs.

Knowledge/Skills/Competencies Required:

  • Marketing professional with experience designing, developing, launching and measuring marketing solutions to support the sales channels and achieve competitive advantage across the insurance industry.
  • Curious, high-energy personality who inspires and enjoys working with and leading others in the marketing discipline.
  • Able to turn ideas and data into informed hypotheses and opportunities to delight partners and customers with differentiated products / services and marketing programs.
  • Excellent knowledge of insurance and financial services products, which aspects appeal to         customers.
  • Solid understanding of consumer research techniques, enabling this person to conduct consumer research programs.
  • Ability to manage a small team of marketing executives, provide direction and motivation

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in Marketing and/or insurance and financial services product development.
  • University Degree and MBA preferred.
  • High-energy, can-do attitude. Results-oriented, with excellent relationship-building and influencing skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of consumers and the cultural nuances of the Vietnamese customer, applicable to developing product / service solutions that resonate and excite customers.
  • Proficient in English and Vietnamese

Minimum Qualifications:
 
  • Possession of a bachelor degree (or more advanced) in any academic field (construction related preferred) from a U.S. or U.K. educational institution.
  • Minimum five (5) years of marketing and/or project exploring and business strategy development experience in construction and project development industry of Vietnam. (Experience of governmental sector is highly preferred)
  • Minimum three (3) years of work experience in major globalPM/CM company and/or global contractors.
  • Possession of anative level of communication skill in English and Vietnamese.
  • Nationality is not a matter of consideration.
Roles and Responsibilities:
 
  • Developingcreative business plan and conducting ongoing strategic planning for business unit by monitoring and analyzing market trends, studying competitors’ services and marketing activities, exploring existing services and increasing profitability, and identifying target markets.
  • Finding, pursuing and winning long term, large business opportunities by networking with clients as well as within the industry to develop business relationships
  • Prospecting for new clients and projects, networking, generating leads and opportunities.
  • Responsible for internal and external communication in client relationship management, public relations and contract negotiation.
  • Responsible for involvement in all contractual matters from pre-contract to post contract stages.
  • Participating in the management meetings, pre and post bid process.
