Description

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Assist to identify, assess, describe and evaluate risks affecting the business and propose/implement corrective action plans to mitigate the same.
  • Assist to plan, design and implement an overall risk management process including key risk indicators across the region.
  • Assist to create policies, procedures and control assessments in response to identified risks.
  • Provide support, education, training and technical support to management and employees regarding risk management strategies and programs.
  • Conduct of internal audits, collating data, analyzing trend and reporting of statistics.
  • Maintain reports of significant risks and recommendations.
  • Support site surveys and due diligence checks to evaluate the feasibility of proposed projects.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the company's internal control framework in addressing risks and accomplishing the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor and management.
  • Frequent travel within the region required.

Requirements

  • Good analytical and communicating skills
  • Vigilant and observant
  • Experience in the logistics sector/selected commodities sectors preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Good written and spoken English and Mandarin (to liaise with Mandarin speaking overseas counterparts).

Preferred

  • Proficiency in written and spoken Bahasa is a plus.

Description

Responsible for all areas of tax for the region – corporate tax, transfer pricing, GST, withholding tax, etc.

  • Support tax planning and ensure tax is minimised for the region
  • Business partnering support through tax advisory on new business set-ups, transactions, process improvements, etc.
  • Responsible for all areas of tax locally and regionally on both aspects – compliance and advisory
  • Responsible for transfer pricing work. Coordinate and prepare transfer pricing documentation of the region with external TP advisors to ensure that they comply with local transfer pricing regulations
  • Ensure adequate current tax provision and deferred tax asset/ liability in the region
  • Identify tax initiatives that may qualify for tax incentives and grants in the respective countries
  • Establish and maintain a tax efficient and compliant structure locally and as a group
  • Identify and address potential tax implications on project undertaken in the region
  • Responsible for all tax reportings to HQ
  • Keep up to date with tax law changes, translate tax implications of the changes into business impacts and required actions
  • Assist with financial and management reporting function when the need arises
  • Other duties as assigned by the Superior

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy or its equivalent
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience preferably in a Tax Department in a Big 4 firm and/ or relevant tax experience in a MNC
  • Strong technical knowledge of corporate taxes and transfer pricing regulations
  • Experience in handling international tax issues, cross-border taxes and transfer pricing
  • Responsible, analytical, organised and a team player
  • Independent, able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking counterparts.
  • Traveling in Asia Pacific region may be required

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Identify and analyze business requirements from both commercial and technical perspective.
  • Prepare the documentation for each stage of system implementation such as user requirements, workflow diagram, test cases, functional specs, user manual, etc.

Description

Job title:  Executive, Customer Service

Report to : Branch Manager.

Working : Dong Nai

  • Manage daily execution of customer service activities pertaining to the arrangement of warehousing, distribution and import/export shipments.
  • Ensure proper and timely execution and follow up on banks and customers’ instructions and requests.
  • Updating the warehouse management inventory management system timely and accurately.
  • Arrange and coordinate all import and export shipping matters according to clients’ requirements.
  • Coordinate with various shipping and forwarding contractors and internal warehouse operations to support timely receipt and delivery of shipments to customers.
  • Fulfil orders and generate reports using the Company’s in-house warehouse management system.
  • Collaborate with finance department to ensure timely and accurate billing.

Account Management

  • Attend to customer inquiries in coordination with the Commercial and Customer Service Manager and manage Customer's expectation.
  • Trouble shooting/solving of daily operations issues.
  • Escalate any customer’s complaints to the Team Leaders or Customer Service Manager.
  • Timely and error free processing of customer’s instructions such as warranting, title transfer and warehouse receipt.

Planning and Co-ordination

  • Prepare Work Order Instructions for on-site warehouse teams and follow up till completion of the job.
  • To escalate any claims, disputes etc. to Team Leaders or Customer Service Manager.
  • Assist on ad-hoc reporting matters or any other assigned task given by Team Leaders.
  • Monitor closely to the progress of work orders and keep the customer informed on regular basis.
  • To verify and check the logistics documents (such as draft BL or packing list) from LSP before forwarding to the customers.

System Data and Inventory

  • To update the Logistics system.
  • To send inventory report to customers and banks on regular basis. Report to be checked by Team Leaders before sending to external parties.

Costing and Billing

  • Timely and accurate billing to customer.
  • To ensure job costing is completed in CLS8 and review job budget with consideration of additional charges.
  • Engage with customer to ensure timely payments to AR invoices. Target to minimize ageing payments that are more than 30 days.
  • To ensure Job Costing is up to date once the job is completed. Include provision in the job costing sheet if foresee unexpected charges.
  • To inform customer timely for additional charges incurred.
  • To clarify timely on the LSP invoices to ensure accurate AP payments from Finance department.

Job File Management

  • Maintain accurate documentation and filing.
  • To indicate/update the cover file with detail job information.

General

  • Any other tasks or assignments as may be assigned from time to time.
