MEP Construction Manager
- Construction / Architecture
Working location is in the North of Vietnam.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage MEP site team: mentor, schedule team activities, recruitment and enhance performance of team members through all construction phases.
- Check and ensure the project brief, all design briefs, MEP drawings and specifications and all project relevant information are executed as per clients’ objectives.
- Contact with Suppliers of electrical, plumbing and fire safety materials/equipment for the most efficient & cost effective application and working methods.
- Follow up MEP progress, quality and safety, and take action to rectify any non-conformance.
- Supervise onsite MEP contractors.
- Overall MEP site management: highlight any issues with site management to the Project Manager.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in engineering or equivalent: minimum 3 years of study.
- Major: Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Mandatory project experience: Hospital project
- Working experience in Asia countries is a must, experience in Vietnam is a plus
- Fluent English in both written and spoken.
- Previous experience managing multicultural project teams in an expatriate environment.
- Ability to train and mentor others to develop further their skills in contractor management, safety, quality management, and site-based design management.
- Attention to detail, in respect to contractual requirements, design/site drawings, quality of MEP installation works and MEP standard methods.
- Knowledge of software used in project management including: Microsoft Project, Primavera, Team Binder, Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.

- Establish, develop and maintain an efficient HR system, policies & processes that enable a professional environment & culture where employees are satisfied and motivated to contribute their greatest effort to the success of the company.
- Set up fair Compensation & Benefit policies and ensure the proper implementation of the policies, including salary, commission, insurance, other allowances and benefits
- Recruit and develop qualified workforce to align with Company’s business plan.
- Handle and manage daily tasks related HRA department.
- Consult on setting up and developing strategic HR Policy, KPIs System, Working Procedures, Policies,
- Regulations and Guidelines in compliance with the Labour Laws and customers’
requirements and ensure its good implementation. - Continuously monitor and evaluate efficiency and effectiveness of HR policies and procedures
- Manage, coach and motivate team members
- Liaise with managers to identify training needs and arrange courses.
- Implement annual performance appraisal for adjustment salary scheme.
- Ensure that all monthly payments in respect of tax, salaries are correct and paid on time.
- Cooperate and work with Sales Representatives in other countries to ensure a smooth operation and
compliance to the Company’s policies - Carry out any other duties that may be requested from time to time.
- Manage the admin team, including receptionist and admin staff
- Manage office equipment, furniture, stationeries, staff amenities
