Job title: Technology Development Executive

Main Responsibility:

To generate information useful for new product Introduction & commercial adoption.

1. Execution & timely reporting of product development trial plan

  • Testing network management e.g. Field & Farmer selection
  • Trial establishment  & Management ensuring compliance
  • Data collection, analysis & Reporting in System

2. Sales/Marketing support

  • Training to sales/Key dealers to enable them to successfully execute field plots, Product FAB, FAQ, Grower recommendations & complaint management
  • Provide market information – segments, competitive intelligence
  • Anticipate changes, Identifying business opportunities & develop solutions

3. Commercial acceptance support (FTO)

  • Developing a strong network with the local scientific community & other stakeholders to anticipate & ensure support on various technical issues like IRM, IWM & technology and also to keep track of the latest trends in the industry.

Minumum Qualification And Work Experience:

  • Minimum Post graduate/Masters in Agriculture or equivalent experience in Agronomy, Weed Science, Entomology, Soil Science, Plant Pathology or a closely related field required.
  • 3 years experience in related activities.
  • Ability to lead a team of RAs conducting independent trial work.
  • Training and experience in experimental design, field test plot management, statistics and data interpretation is required.
  • Strong oral, written and presentation skills are needed.
  • Strong computer skills, especially in scientific software, are necessary.
  • Demonstrated self-discipline, ability to function effectively without direct supervision, ability to work effectively with other
  • Agronomy Center personnel, research and marketing personnel is required.
  • May be required to work in strained or cramped positions.
  • Experience with operating agricultural equipment preferred.
  • Ability to coordinate with TD team in conducting independent trial work.

OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE OF JOB

To work on all operational and process aspects for the sales team. Including management and responsibility of the Sales Support, Sales Capability/Training, Trade promotion team to ensure operational excellence.

As a member of Vietnam leadership team - Leads and develops an engaged and effective sales operation  team

KEY ACTIVITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops and defines key scorecards and reporting systems, and facilitate weekly, periodic and quarterly sales reviews and performance analysis to gauge execution and adjust sales strategy
  • Responsible for quality, accuracy and timeliness of standard reporting
  • Oversees daily, weekly and periodic sales reporting
  • Maximizing business opportunity through Consumer and Market understanding.
  • Planning, implementing, and evaluating all channels strategies (sales / expenses/profit)
  • Strategies & activities development, new stores opening new products listing, launching.
  • Controlling and utilizing sales expense, budget effectively and efficiently, support to National Sales Director in Sales forecast of the GT & MT channel.
  • Channel Sales expenses budget allocation by Branch/ by Chain/ by Activities.
  • Communicate with relating Departments to arrange channel activities (stock transfer, invoice, packing, promotion gifts/code; POSM distribution)
  • Update activities progress, giving idea & opinion to improve activities.
  • Channel performance, sales budget achievement, channel activities & profitability 
  • Data analysis & evaluate business plan    
  • Data analysis & evaluate each promotion/ merchandizing activity.
  • Analyse report of sell in, sell out, stock at stores
  • Liaises with Finance and Legal teams on deal structures while working close with sales team to ensure all contracts are complete, accurate and meet internal requirements
  • Identify sales capability gap and need to come up with the training programs, ensure and monitor the sustainability of sales team ‘s capability
  • Develop channel promotion strategies, activities, implementation program.
  • Manages and ensures the development of the engaged sales operation team  via regular feedback, class training, field coaching according to PDP 70/20/10

 

​​QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING

  • ​​​​University - Graduate of Business Administration, or related course
  • Influent in speaking and writing English
  • Excelent in Microsolf office 

EXPERIENCE

  • At least 5  year experience in Sales Operation ( sales admin/support, sales traning, sales capability, trade promotion) in FMCG
  • Strong experience in planning and execution
  • Knowledge of managing sales budget to delivery sales target

Focus

This role is principally about running the management and delivery of multi-channel projects on a large account.
