Position    : Country  Sales Manager  for air & sea freight

Report to :  Managing Director ( Expatriate)

Number of staffs : 4-6 staffs.

Purpose of the Job:

Overall responsibility for the Sales & Marketing activities. Work closely with respective offices in developing and control Sales & Marketing activities, Sales Budget and Trade Lane agreement.

Job Duties:

• To be responsible for Top Sales turnover for air & sea freight, and Contract logistics;
• To be directly responsible for the Air & Sea development and with targets;
• To monitor & coach the sales team to expand their capabilities and build sales managers in the organization;
• To plan and implement Sales and Marketing strategies for Northern China;
• To help establish and direct the development and implementation of short and long term business plans for the company and to oversee preparation of divisional sales budgets in support  of these plans;
• To plan and lead the direction of the department to deliver quality, timely and successful responses to RFQs.
• To ensure that transportation concepts and value  added services are offered;
• Anticipate and effectively deal with and inform the Country Management about market and customer trends that could enhance the organization’s      opportunities or adversely impact business results;
• To establish meaningful KPIs and monitor the success for the sales team;
• To establish periodical reports and statistics for the Country Management;
• To represent the company in business associations;
• To contribute to the identification of specific business opportunities and participate in development of new or modified service offerings;
• To interface with other departments to ensure a smooth working relationship.
• Ensures sales contracts indicate clear payment terms and helps to collect  accounts receivables as and when needed;
• To ensure that the department’s operations conform to laws, policies, rules and regulations of the relevant authorities and the company.;
• To travel in the region and inter-continental as and when required;

• Coordinate with Business Development and relevant departments to have daily/ weekly trucking plan
• Achieve targeted of long vehicles utilization/ equipment/ month
• Achieve targeted of truck minimum loss time at loading and unloading destinations
• Ensure high availability and efficiency of tractors and trailers
• Manage and motivate and develop the Trucking coordinators and drivers
• Establish KPI and conduct weekly/monthly performance reviews
• Provide the necessary training for drivers and trucking coordinators
• Set up a bonus scheme for driver
• Build-up, manage and develop the trucking Section  to achieve long term trucking objectives and KPIs
• Set up Tractor/ driver management system
• Build up trucking delivery modal to manage trucking service activities to achieve placing costs as budgeted.
• Set up and deploy the standard of service guideline

• Engineer on environment specialist

Job title: Logistics Manager

Responsibilities: 

• Implement best-in-class supply chain processes/tools with integration with global practices and support of APAC central supply chain team.
• Establish and manage operative costs budget for Warehousing and transportation.
• Develops a continuous improvement approach in all areas of responsibility.
• Manage order consolidation and transportation.
• Manage import and export formalities and ensure customs compliance procedures are followed.
• Coordinate products flows from various factories to maximize container loading.
• Evaluate operating performance of 3rd party logistics providers.
• Manage FG inventory control, and warehouse management.
• Collaborate with cross functional partners (internal and external) to assist in achieving supply chain performance target and financial goals in VSOP.
• Ensure SAP adoption and synchronized transaction based on daily operations.
• Manage and develop logistics team in VSOP to accomplish superior service level to the customers at optimized cost.
• Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Education & Working Exerience Required

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management/Logistics preferred;
• Minimum 5 in supply chain management/logistics, preferably in manufacturing industry.
