Job title: Deputy Sales Director

Key Responsibilities

  • Based on business policies of Head Quater and characteristics of Vietnam market, set up business strategies and sales policies appropriate with the markets to ensure the successful of the annual sales target.
  • In charge of Sales team includes: establish sales policy, business strategy; Maintain and develop business and monitor the implementation.
  • Set and manage regional sales targets/budgets and progressively monitor the monthly performance against budget. Interpret the sales results, analyze the sales trends and make prompt corrective actions to improve results. Develop and implement a sound national sales & marketing plan to achieve sales volume objectives and presence in the market.
  • Ensure effective coordination with the Manufacturing so that a maximum supply of product will continuously flow into the market at the lowest possible cost per case throughout the whole country.
  • Formulate, plan and execute effective advertising & promotion campaigns, brand and channel strategies to maximize the profitability of the various brands and key accounts.
  • Keep informed on business conditions, competitors’ activities, general trends and market developments and propose action plans to improve competitive advantage. Manage all research studies that provide strategic input to annual business plans and new business plans. Assess and identify market gaps and recommend opportunities for existing products or for the development of new products and packages.
  • Monitor all trade channels within the national to identify competitive opportunities, develop competitive strategies and recommend actions to achieve Business Plan objectives.
  • Set up display placement goals, develop and execute action plans to maintain or enhance market dominance.
  • Develop and recommend special incentives directed toward the attainment of particular sales goals.
  • Controlling business costs and liabilities in accordance with the company's policies.
  • Provide directions to the team in the executive of the national sales & marketing strategy and plans.
  • Set objectives/performance requirements and assess the performance of the team. Lead the team through regular planning and review meetings.
  • Develop the skills and competencies of the sales and merchandising team members by facilitating training and learning on the job.  Demonstrate a keen interest in developing self and developing others to build a professional sales and merchandising team.

Experience:

  • Understand the business of Vietnam market;
  • Understand the Home Appliance Industry (HA);
  • Knowledge of business legal matters.
  • Must have at least 5 years of sales and marketing experience in the same position preferably in the CPG/FMCG environment;
  • Has experience in a foreign company or Join Venture Company.

Job title: Assistant Financial Controller

Main Job Purpose:

  • Manage the day-to-day financial activities of the organization; control its financial resources and ensure that all financial transactions, systems and procedures comply with regulations, accounting principles, and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Activities may include: financial analysis and reporting; taxation; insurance; credit control; accounts payable and receivable; inventory and costs control; and budgeting and forecasting.
  • Analyze the organization’s revenues, liabilities, credit conditions, and other financial indicators to forecast it's short, medium, and long-term cash flow position; evaluate and recommend investments, funding sources, and other financial instruments that will meet these cash flow needs. Advise senior management on financial matters and on the potential impact of current and future laws and regulations on the operation of the organization.
  • Provide technical expertise and advice on financial issues to functional or operational areas managers to help them develop revenue and expense budgets, understand financial reports, and manage their financial responsibilities. Prepare the organization’s financial reports and present findings and recommendations to the top executive group and/or Board. Ensure that all tax returns, tax declarations, and other required reports are submitted accurately and on time. Select, and manage ongoing relationships with, external consultants and advisors (e.g., tax advisors, accounting firms) to ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.
  • Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop financial staff to ensure the organization’s accounting activities are conducted accurately, ethically, consistently and according to relevant regulations, laws, and standards
  • Ensure internal controls, SOPs & HQ’s policies are complied with and provide continuous improvement over these policies.

Requirements:

  • University degree with major in accounting, preferably candidate with ACCA/CPA international qualification
  • 10 - 15 years’ relevant work experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ of working experience in a big for auditor’s firm
  • Strong leadership capabilities in leading the local accounting team
  • High computer literacy especially MS Office Excel for financial modelling simulation
  • Analytical and good problem solving skills and able to work independently
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-driven and able to work under tight reporting deadlines
  • Familiar with Singapore or International accounting standards
  • SAP system knowledge
  • Fluent in English;
